Love, Money & Loneliness
December brings a certain loneliness, a reminder that another year has passed. As the year ends, we look back and feel the heaviness of regret, of the things we wish hadn't happened. Come and untangle love, money and loneliness from the old stories you've carried for your family, and step into the new year standing in your own place.

Maybe 2026 just wasn't your year.
You can't quite put your finger on why. But you know it wasn't. You're a bit lonely, a little disillusioned, and somewhere underneath there's still a feeling that the best is yet to come for you.
Maybe there's an absence of love in your life, whether you're single, married or somewhere in between. Maybe Christmas is something you're dreading, not looking forward to.
Maybe money keeps tripping you up. Not always because there isn't enough, but because you can't seem to mind what you have, and you can feel your family's old patterns in it.
Or maybe it's loneliness. You've lost someone you love, or it's a feeling you've carried in your cells for as long as you can remember.
December brings all of this to the surface. The evenings close in, the storms come, and the questions we kept busy enough to ignore all year come knocking. Yes, it's dark. But the dark is also where we plant new seeds.
This is a day to stop holding it all together, and let yourself look.
From where you are, to a step better
Feel Lighter before Christmas.
You might arrive
- Lonely, and a little disillusioned
- Feeling an absence of love, whatever your relationship status
- Dreading Christmas
- Caught in money patterns you've inherited
- With some sadness that could lives in your cells
You'll leave
- Lighter, having taken a proper look at what's really going on
- Clearer on which parts are yours, and which you've been carrying for someone else
- Curious about where these patterns began, and who in your family they started with
- With a plan and some clarity for the year ahead
- Knowing how to care for yourself this Christmas, with grief and joy side by side
I'm not here to prescribe a cure-all. This is a step to better. A chance to reflect on who owns what, where with your ancestors these themes began, and to find out a bit more about yourself.
Three threads, one knot
Some of what you carry may not even be yours.
We're shaped by the seven generations before us. Here in Ireland, we come from the colonised, from famine and emigration, from babies lost and never spoken of, and from money that was always scarce, always a secret, always held on to tight. Those stories travel. They show up as the fear of never having enough, the pull to need nobody, or a loneliness that doesn't match the life you've built.
In my work, the same things come up again and again. Our desire for connection. Our desire for wealth. Underneath both, what we're really looking for is safety. And love and money carry a very similar energy: both ask us to let them in, to hold them, and to let them flow.
Love
Wanting someone and fearing what it costs you. Fiercely independent, and quietly tired of doing it all alone.
Money
A millionaire or a minus balance, money carries old loyalties. Sometimes struggling is a way of still belonging.
Loneliness
Single, partnered or in between. Surrounded by family and still alone. Grieving someone nobody mentions anymore.
What it really means
The Drama Triangle
Stephen Karpman's three roles we slip into under pressure. We rarely choose them; we inherit them, and swap between them, often within one Christmas dinner.
Victim · "There's never enough. Nobody chooses me."
Rescuer · "I'll pay, I'll fix it, I'll hold everyone together."
Persecutor · "I don't need anyone. Why can't they cop on?"
The day
Come for the morning. Stay for the afternoon if it calls you.
The morning isn't about fixing everything. It's about taking a closer look at what's going on, and perhaps leaving a little lighter. The afternoon is optional, for anyone who wants to go deeper.

Your guide
I know what it's like to dread Christmas.
Christmas 2018 was our last few weeks with my mother. We all knew it was her last. She died in March 2019, and it was a sad ending, full of disappointment and regret, and wishing it could have been another way. Then came Christmas 2019, the first without her. I still remember how hard that was. If I'm honest, I've dreaded December every year since.
Christmas was never a big thing in our family anyway. And being single at Christmas is a theme that has followed me since I was very young. I sit with it, and I hold it. This autumn I went through a breakup, so loneliness isn't something I talk about from a distance.
Grief has been with me a long time. My mother lost three babies, and I was in her womb when my grandmother died. I even trained as a funeral celebrant.
And money? I'm Irish. We come from people who learned to hold on to every penny. After 22 years as an employee in big tech and global brands, including eight at Salesforce, I've spent the last three and a half years creating my own wealth. Moving from a salary to building it myself has shown me every money story my family handed down.
I'm a trained life and business coach, but more than that, I'm a systemic coach. I've done years of work on relationships and family dynamics. I'm the bridge between work and family, and I work with people going through deep transitions all the time. These are the themes that come up again and again.
I know what it's like to have a hard December. I'm here to walk alongside you.

Questions
I've never done a constellation. Is that okay?
Completely. The morning is gentle, and you share only what you choose.
Do I have to stay for the afternoon?
No. The morning stands on its own, and you can decide on the day. The afternoon goes ahead with a minimum of 6 people.
How are the two family constellations chosen?
You'll fill in a short intake form before the day. Then we choose together as a group, following the energy in the room. And even if it isn't your constellation, standing in as a representative means everyone gets something from it.
Is breathwork suitable for everyone?
It's gentle. If you're pregnant, or have a heart condition, epilepsy or high blood pressure, let me know when you book and I'll adapt it.
